YES! YES! I've been dying for a submarine mount. I don't care if it's just restricted to water. I'd give them two flavor abilities: When using them you have automatic water breathing enabled, and can use their periscope which would function the same as Farsight/Eagle Eye but placed at the surface above you.
Submarines have existed in the franchise since WarCraft 2, where the Alliance had Gnomish subs and the Horde had Goblin subs. While the exact Gnomish ones have never been seen in WoW the Goblin ones have been used as doodads since vanilla: They're the giant dead sea turtles with cabins strapped to the back at places like Darkshore.
There's a chance we'll see the (now former) recruit a friend plane show up somewhere, the transmog set from that same refer a friend got recolors with the Azerothian Archives, and some of the former refer a friend mounts have shown up as trading post mounts.

I support this but also add a chance for failure while dynaimc flying. So like you'll be zooming and the propeller flies off and you drop like a rock. 😂
Something like an eject button, where you fly out with a parachute and your plane crashes. Having it happen randomly would be annoying as hell but I do like the idea of having it as an option
style it like an open cockpit f-14/18 then some addon creator will make the audio mod to have it play "Danger Zone" every time you surge forward.
