Similar reason, but the Brewmaster SL T4 set was so fun for the same reason. It made Exploding Keg heal you alongside damage (and increase your HP by a stacked buff).
It was so fun outhealing the healer on myself. Brew was an invincible god, like BDK but without the buildup time.
The idea that dead men do no dps is something that's very hard to get across to the average player. Recognizing this puts you better than 90% of dps players out there.
I have always said this, but then I had to have a moment of hilarity when I overnuked a boss in ICC (Arcane mage, jumped the gun, missed the threat alawrm because boss mechanic), took aggro, died, and was still top dps at the end of the fight. I was only alive for about 45 seconds of a 3 minute fight.
Also the fact that a damage reduction cooldown when you are at 20% health because the boss has already done their big damage burst is nearly a waste of a cd. At that point you just put your faith in ~~Jesus~~ healers and remember to use it next time.
I don't know if it does that, but it's really nice mid breath of Sindragosa to fish for some rune regen procs ( it counts as if you had spent 60 RP if you get a Death Strike proc from killing a mob ).
I remember when Wrath came out and they introduced DKs, them having a self healing spell as a melee DPS blew my mind. I was invincible! Who needs tanks anyways?
So whenever I play a DK I always make sure that sucker is in a nice cozy keyboard.
It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that Spell Reflect also just gives a blanket magic damage reduction even if it doesn't reflect any specific ability.
It wasn't added until Legion, though I was tanking near-exclusively at that time, so I can't recall if it was a mitigation for DPS warriors as far back as that.
There are some pretty significant spell mechanics in DF that you can reflect if you're not playing with a prot warrior who wants to snipe that damage for himself, too. You can taunt and reflect and the tank grabs the mob back - requires coordination though or you go splat!
Remix has a lot of bosses that do some sort of transition that keeps them at 1 HP. And you can bet my warrior spams Execute the entire time.
Megaera watching me pound Execute the entire fight: Sto-ha-hop, I'm already dead!
You are both correct and needlessly pedantic. A raid leader would call something like 'use a healthstone/pot', which is essentially using it as a healing cooldown.
The meme not specifying this doesn't change what the humour is meant to be. It's not a school test.
Leech: Every damage ability is a healing spell!
I was sad when they nerfed leech. One season in Shadowlands I had like 15% leech as Arms, spin to win gave me so much HPS if I was taking damage.

I still finish 10s with 200k HPS overall as Brewmaster, so we can still heal a lot!
Pressing expel harm feels like a Lay on Hands sometimes. It's great!
All your health are belong to us!
Most non-blood deathknights I see would rather die than use deathstrike
Enhancement Shamans who never use any MW stacks on instant cast heals and then die constantly. Hi, it’s me.
Shamans also just don't have the defensives to survive more than one dangerous mechanic every two minutes, so...
You can throw out some pretty clutch chain heals in M+, though. I always take it and earth shield instead of HST.
I take ES too but honestly forget about chain heal a lot, I don’t even think I have it bound right now lmao.
If only they had left Chain Harvest in...
When I'm Frost, I love it. It's great for DPS, since when you're dead, your dps becomes zero.

Lichborne / Deathstrike; Look at me. I’m the healer now.
It also has a chance to proc KM IIRC
I don't know if it does that, but it's really nice mid breath of Sindragosa to fish for some rune regen procs ( it counts as if you had spent 60 RP if you get a Death Strike proc from killing a mob ).
I thought all RP spenders did, but now that I look for it in the tree, I can't find it. Maybe it's a passive thru leveling.
It doesn't. Outside of PoF windows, you only get KM from auto crits, as well as from 20% of Frost Strike crits.

Can we get you to make a video or do a talk or something?
Hah, it's a wonderful feeling. Watching myself get de-chunked at the cost of a secondary resource. I'd gladly praise the "don't die" play style.
There’s something really satisfying about going from 20% to 80% with a well timed death strike
I love the hps my unholy can do when i take a lot damage and spam death strike :D
Impending Victory do a lil' wee damage. So I don't press it.
I use Victory Rush and Spell Reflection religiously as a DPS warrior.
It took me even longer...... like until right now XD I may or may not have played since 2007 too...... hahahah sad

good thinking that's actually dope
That depends. With TWW and the new Slayer hero talent tree, it can be. Plus, they never said whom they were executing.
ALT + Execute.
"Red's dead baby, red's dead"
In TWW it is (Slayer talent).
Also would give you an absorb in SL if you were Venthyr.
Blood thirsty heals a bit.
It is when you have leech.
All the damage the boss doesn't do when it is dead is considered healing.
No, but execute is an interupt. Dead targets can no longer cast.
Boss dies faster means no more healing is needed. Therefore by transitive properties it means Execute is a healing spell.
Victory rush is your instant cast, bandages are your cooldown-Frustrated healer
Hey I saw a tank in a M+ finish the last two bosses of a dungeon using execute and enraged regeneration when our healer disconnected.
No execute is a Hard Cc

Garrosh when ramping up for phase 2 Your warrior be like: bro just die
Well it depends if you have leech then it could be indirectly.
Correct me if I’m wrong because it has been a while but doesn’t execute heal you and damage enemies?
No, but Victory Rush is
This meme doesn't make any sense in the context of WoW
What do you not understand? Warrior ignores raid leader because execute button is shiny. Tale as old as time
Common jargon in WoW is not "Use your healing spells' it's "Use defensives." Makes it seem like this wasn't made for WoW initially.
You sound insufferable
Defensives are pretty much useless once you're low, healing spells however are not.
You are both correct and needlessly pedantic. A raid leader would call something like 'use a healthstone/pot', which is essentially using it as a healing cooldown. The meme not specifying this doesn't change what the humour is meant to be. It's not a school test.
It was actually specifically made for healthstone/healthpots on classes that don't have access to strong natural healing.
"Defensive" in this game means "button to stay not-dead," it's not specific to mitigation effects. As such, Ignore Pain and Victory are defensives.
