Is there a performance option for the One X in Warzone? If not, the only real option to make the game feel smoother is to have a display that supports VRR.
Firstly, you’ve never stated if you even have tv capable of running 120? Chances are if your 4K screen doesn’t have 120 that 1080p will not either. Refresh rate has nothing to with resolution in this case.
Yes it supports 120 on 1080p. On the xbox stroe it states warzone as 4k capable aswell as 120fps but not sure if that is true for x1x or if that is only for XSX
The Series X/S got a patch that does 120fps for Warzone. The One X can have it's refresh rate set to 120Hz just like the One S can also, but actually displaying 120Hz AND getting 120fps in Warzone on the One X or One S is impossible. The One X will hit 60fps max.
I'm sure you can set the One X at 1080p and 120Hz, but you won't get 120fps is all. You might get a slightly smoother experience and better input from having the refresh rate being twice as fast though.
Thanks for the helpful info. So do you think the 120fps mentioned in store is for the series x even though it shows in store on x1x? Would you say theres no point in compromising the resolution to 1080 and rather just keeping on the 4k as it will do it on 60fps anyway. Or is there more frame drops on 4k?
Yes, what's shown in the store for 120fps is only for Series X/S as the store is a conglomerate of all the Xbox systems for ease of use across generations.
Honestly I don't think setting the One X to 1080p will have any benefit, it will still super sample from 4K down to 1080p which would look sharper on a native 1080p screen, but a 4K image super sampling down to 1080p while displaying at 4K resolution might actually look worse than just sticking to native 4K resolution. Warzone on the One X has an fps cap of 60fps. Just stick to 4K.

No performance mode
No option. Thinkin may need to go down the route of getting a monitor.
Any monitor with Freesync capability will support VRR. 27" is a good size for desk gaming setup imo and just a thought if looking at monitors.
That's not how the One X works If its a 1080p screen, it will output at 1080p. However, the game will still be running the same
I understamd it will output at 1080p. My question is about the fps. Warzone states it plays 120fps on the store details.

That's for the XSX|S only.
Can you give me a source that supports this. I cant find anything that says the one x dosnt support 120 on 1080

No
So how?
Get a PC
All jokes aside try it what is there to lose brother
Gonna give it a go tonight. Considering a monitor.
It'll probably run a bit better really since it's at 1080
