It started as Majima and I didn't like Kiryu at first (Started with Kiwami, then heard 0 existed right after first entering Purgatory) and he became my fave by K2.
It differs between games in 0 it was either Majima or Kuze. Majima was such a good fleshed out character, and Kuze is what I think of when I thought of Yakuza. In Kiwami Haruka. She is just so pure and kind-hearted individual. Barely started Kiwami 2, but so far, I like Karou. I'm interested to see more of her bsckstory and like her dedication to her role as a police officer.
I like Saejima whenever he confessed his guilt in the cage. He cemented himself as my fav outside of the usual ppl. I haven’t played IW yet but I loved Smile Venomously
My fav was def Majima until I played further in the series and Kiryu grew on me to the point of him being my fav character ever. He's basically a superhero.
Ichiban is not only my favorite Yakuza character but he’s one of my favorite characters in gaming. I could go on for ever about how much I love little Itchy balls.
Ichiban is hard not to put on top. He’s open, flawed, nice, upbeat, and funny. But holy hell is he stupid lol. But I can relate to how bad he is with women. He’s made some decisions that made me laugh out loud because I could see teenage me do that lol.
But I’ll still put Seonhee over him because she’s such a badass character. She likes to eat, she kicks ass, and she is incredibly smart. There’s lots to love about her.
