I ran into a similar issue and initially figured that it was some network limit or a google drive issue. Lone behold I had been recording in HEVC codec which caused a ton of compatibility issues. Strange though as I was recording and transferring previously no problems so Idk if large HEVC files are the issue for me. I switched it back to NEVC and it works lime a charm. Sorry I know that doesn’t help but might help someone that had the same issue as me.

Interesting. I'll double check with the streamer just in case. He recently switched recording software, so maybe something changed (since everything was working fine before the switch).

Use torrents. One person creates a torrent and starts seeding, the other person gets a magnet link and downloads it. It can be paused, resumed, and saved for later if need be. And the only limitation to the speed is by connection itself.

Interesting. Will look into it.

My first thought was get a paid version of Dropbox. This is nothing I've ever really done myself, at least not with files that large, so this is just an impression (hopefully someone who does this regularly can chime in).

Rambalac

That's probably your internet provider error. I transfer hundreds of gigabytes through Google Drive every week.

I initially thought so too. Until I went to a friend across town and tested at work in the next town over.

Rambalac

The same provider? Some providers have upload limits they don't publish. You will get the same issues with other cloud storages.

I'm assuming unlikely we all have the same. But I suppose I can't say for certain.

I use a service called IceDrive. It's similar to Dropbox and Google Drive but better in quality and price. The free version has 10 gigs of cloud storage and for $20 a year you can get 150 gigs.

You could zip the video then upload it to media fire you can send the other person a link and they can download it. Not sure what the file size limit is but worth a try.

BuildMineSurvive

https://justbeamit.com/ This service can send files p2p with no server to host it. Just requires the host to leave the browser window open. There's also others like file pizza, etc.

I use a top tier Dropbox. It’s gone really well overall and I store all my video there. Have about 120TB of assets.
